How to access public healthcare services
Types of government facilities
Malaysia has many government healthcare facilities. Each serves different needs.
Clinics (Klinik Kesihatan):
- For common illnesses
- Walk-in, no appointment
- RM1 for Malaysians
- Open Mon-Sat
Hospitals:
- For serious conditions
- Need referral from clinic (for specialists)
- RM5 for Malaysians
- Emergency open 24/7
What to bring:

Process:
- Register at counter
- Pay RM1 or RM5
