What is JKKP?
JKKP (Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan) or DOSH is the department that ensures workplace safety. They make sure your workplace is safe and healthy.
When to report to JKKP:
- 🏥 Serious accident at workplace
- ☠️ Death at workplace
- 🏭 Dangerous occurrence (near miss)
- 🤢 Occupational disease
Employer's duty:
- Provide safe workplace
- Provide safety equipment
- Train workers on safety
- Report accidents to JKKP

Who should report workplace accidents?
The employer is legally required to report. If they don't, employees or witnesses can report directly to JKKP.
What if my employer doesn't provide safety equipment?
Report to JKKP immediately. Employers are legally required to provide appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) free of charge.
Can I be fired for reporting safety violations?
No, this is illegal victimization. Report to JKKP and JTK if this happens.
